My 13 month old loves it. Keeps him entertained for about 3 to 5 mins at a time which is an amazing break. When he’s not pushing buttons he’s dragging it around the house. It does open their mind to other switches like lights, remote buttons, phone charges which is going to happen no matter what. Overall, great gift. Just turn off the switches after to conserve battery. The rope with the 2 keys is strong so I don’t see this being ripped apart by a toddler ever. You can try pulling on it and if you are afraid just get rid of the rope and keys to have peace of mind. The battery cover requires a screwdriver to open. Also very good for fine tuning those motor skills.

I bought the Unicorn Busy Board for my 11.5 month old daughter. Disclaimer: I just opened this package & she is currently out at the moment so as of right now I have no review as to how this item is received and/or enjoyed by a child of the appropriate age. I do, however, have a parental opinion and lucky you, I’m willing to share it. The first thing that struck me was the size, now I’m not saying dishonest marketing was used as I’m certain the dimensions were included in the product description, but when I saw it I imagined it was maybe 2’ wide, 3’ high… so when the package came I realized it was one of the 2 toy items I’d recently ordered and knew right away the internet had gotten me yet again. You’d think after the first time I received something in the mail that I’d imagined was many times the size of what it really was I’d start checking dimensions, but no, somehow the illusion of scale has managed to get me time and time again! I will say, however, that despite it’s diminutive size, this product is actually not bad. It appears to be of good quality and solidly crafted. Although she has yet to see it, I already know the many switches and buttons will thrill and entertain my daughter. Something we already do is the lights in our house, I let her turn them on and off as we travel from room to room and floor to floor & she loves it. She is visibly disappointed if I forget to ask her and flip them on or off myself – despite the fact that while she is able to turn the lights and ceiling fans that are on remote control on & off without issue, she needs my help with all of the actual switches that must be flipped up or down – so hopefully this board will help. Actually one of the things I like most about this item is the fact that it will undoubtedly fine tune motor skills, with the plugging and unplugging of the blue cord and the tiny keys. The fact that every single switch/plug/knob/key makes a light turn on is also fantastic, she loves lights. In fact the only thing better would be if it also included sounds, like an engine revving when the key gets turned, or beeps to accompany the lights – although, the addition of sound I’m certain would drive up the price point considerably, and either require more batteries or drain the existing ones that much faster. The rate at which my battery consumption has increased since the baby came home, I should invest in rechargeables. I will update this review on two points: 1) how my daughter enjoys this item and 2) the rate at which batteries are drained by it (and yes I conscientiously *try* to always make sure anything with an off switch is switched off when not in use).

What a huge hit! We like to travel a lot but really didn’t want to rely on the tablet. This was a huge hit. Our son is 18 months and he loves turning on the buttons. He’s still learning how to use the key which is greatBecause the challenge keeps him interested. It is really durable—a match against my son who likes to throw things. It’s well lit, has a great variety of buttons. I highly recommend!

There are a lot of cheap things found on Amazon, but these boards are not them! The quality, construction is amazing. My toddler was never tired of his board. His 6 yo big brother and 8 yo big sister kept taking it away from him too. Now we brought it on a trip to visit family and accidentally left ours there, and their 4 yo cousin is claiming it now. Just buy it! Kids love them! we also bought another wooden busy cube from a different company, the quality was extremely poor and unsafe for a toddler which makes us appreciate these ones even more. Please continue making high quality kids safe wooden toys. We need this kind of companies these days.

We got this for my son’s first birthday. He loves it! He likes to push buttons and tries to play with cords and wires so this was perfect for him. It does not make any noise and is small enough to travel with. It keeps him busy for awhile which is nice!

Bought for my nephew as he was turning one. He really loves the toy and can tell it is helping with cognitive functions. He is able to grab onto smaller objects and comprehend more as he is.

My 7M and 2 year old LOVE this. It’s a great thinking busy board and also fun to do over and over again. Holds their attention for a long time and even my husband and I enjoy it with the kids.

I tried it and I love it. I think my nephew will love. Switch the different switches and dials and different lights come on when you do.Fast shipping . Great for learning , I do wish the back was more solid like front. Made with soft wood on front but nice.

Our 3.5-yr-old grandson likes it, but it didn’t take him long to figure out everything it does (about 10 minutes), and when he got a screwdriver out of my tool chest to remove the battery compartment screws, we knew it was time to find another activity. We’ll donate it to a family with a younger child. I think that for most toddlers, 3 is probably the upper limit of the age range for this toy. But it’s attractive and does what it’s supposed to do.We’ve only had it for a week. If we run into any of the defects that some reviews have reported, I’ll update this review.
