I’m always a little leery of buying refurbished instead of new. However, this nice smaller Chromebook seems to be working fine so far! I really appreciate the size (I can easily hold it in my lap) as well as the lower cost (I’m a cheapskate!). Be aware that like many older Chromebooks, you may not be able to update the Chrome. However, I am mainly using this as an offline writing device, so as long as I can get access to Google Docs and Drive, as well as my email, that’s not a problem for me.

I’ve had this Chromebook for a few months. I needed to sell my Macbook Pro due to financial issues, so I got this and was definitely worried because of the iffy reputation of Chromebooks. It works really great, though. It’s a little bit slower than my Macbook, but I was expecting it to be WAY slower. I don’t like that there’s no keyboard backlight – makes it harder to use at night. I don’t really like that there’s no actual desktop and no way to actually fully shut it down, but that’s a Chromebook problem in general, not specific to this version. Other than those minor issues, it’s great. 9/10. Definitely a good buy/a steal!

I purchased this for my son who is in middle school. The screen broke on his first one so this was a replacement. It came faster than expected. He’s happy with it.

So years later I write this review because this Chromebook is made of steel or something (not literally) it has fallen of my bed onto my hardwood floors about 300 times in a few years because of my cats and each time I flinch and expect it to have a broken screen each time and it never does! So had to come on here and rave about it because it doesn’t seem possible but yet it is possible because it’s a daily or at least a weekly occurrence. So definitely a great buy especially for its durability!

This is my first Chromebook, and it’s not bad! I was hoping it at least had the ability to connect to my printer, but whatever. Beyond that, it works for what I bought it for. It’s smooth, I have tons of browser windows open the time and haven’t seen a hit, and battery life isn’t bad.Will update if anything goes weird with it.
